The Hotel
Our hotel is located in the eastern Harz Mountains, nestled among mountains and forests in the small village of Treseburg, which has a population of just 100. The area is ideal for hikers, those seeking peace and quiet, fly fishermen, and motorcyclists. In the immediate vicinity, you’ll find an extensive network of hiking trails and motorcycle routes, a river for fly fishing, and a rich cultural heritage spanning centuries.

We don’t offer luxury, but we do offer a cozy, inviting atmosphere where you’ll feel right at home.
We invite you to start your well-deserved vacation with a complimentary cup of coffee or tea. While you enjoy your drink, we’d be happy to tell you more about the hotel and the surrounding area. Once the formalities are taken care of and your questions have been answered, we’ll personally escort you to your room.

Breakfast

The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and crispy rolls welcomes you as soon as you step into the breakfast room. Enjoy an extensive breakfast buffet with a wide selection of fresh toppings and spreads—from sweet treats to savory specialties. From fresh fruit and creamy yogurt to unique cheeses and homemade jam: you’ll find everything you need for a perfect start to the day!
Parking
Guests can use the hotel’s private parking lot, which is located right next to the hotel. The parking lot is unguarded; parking is at your own risk. The cost is €10.00 per vehicle per day.
You can easily reserve a parking spot when booking your room, so you’re guaranteed a spot upon arrival. Of course, you can also send us a message at any time.
The Rooms
We offer a variety of room types, ranging from single rooms to rooms with four beds.
All rooms feature a private bathroom with a shower and toilet. They are equipped with standard-size beds (with high-quality mattresses) and a television with satellite channels. Wi-Fi is available in every room, and a complimentary bottle of water awaits you upon arrival. Since the hotel is over 100 years old, each room is unique; they have been carefully decorated to provide you with optimal comfort.
After a good night’s sleep, a delicious breakfast buffet awaits you. As you make your way to the breakfast room, the aroma of freshly baked pastries and coffee greets you. Breakfast is served between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
Budget Room
Our budget rooms are ideal for guests looking for affordable accommodations who don't need a lot of luxury. These rooms offer all the basic amenities, but are slightly smaller or have less spectacular views.
Standard Room
Our standard rooms are comfortably furnished. They offer everything you need for a pleasant vacation in the mountains.
Comfort Room
Our Comfort rooms feature a sitting area for added comfort. These rooms are ideal for longer stays.
Hours of Operation for the Hotel
Check-in is available seven days a week. On Mondays and Tuesdays, we offer self-check-in only.
The front desk is staffed from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you plan to arrive later, please let us know; we will provide you with all the necessary information in a timely manner.
Of course, we also serve breakfast to our hotel guests on our days off. Breakfast is served in the breakfast room and is available from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Upon request and for an additional charge of €15.00, you can have breakfast as early as 7:00 a.m. On the day of departure, we ask that you vacate your room by 10:30 a.m. at the latest.
