In our restaurant, with its cozy, living-room atmosphere, you can enjoy authentic regional dishes, listen to piano music, and admire the walls decorated with GDR memorabilia.
Rest assured: the socialist era of scarcity is far behind us. Homemade soups, Flammkuchen (Alsatian tarte flambée), wild boar sausage, and—reportedly—the best schnitzel in the Bode Valley let you savor the true flavors of the region. Yet there is one culinary remnant from the socialist era that we are only too happy to honor: the hearty Russian Solyanka, a true East German classic. Enjoy your meal!
Breakfast buffet
In the mood for a hearty breakfast after a restful night? Our buffet has everything you could want.
Put together your own breakfast from an assortment of breads, cheeses, and cold cuts, complemented by jam, honey, and Nutella. At our muesli bar, you’ll find yogurt, quark, and red fruit compote, as well as milk, oat milk, and almond milk. For those who prefer savory options, we offer fried eggs or scrambled eggs.
A deliciously aromatic cup of coffee or a flavorful cup of tea is the perfect way to start your day.
Do you follow a vegan diet or have specific dietary needs? Please let us know upon arrival; we’ll be happy to provide suitable and tasty alternatives.
